Frantz Granvorka (born 10 March 1976) is a former France, French volleyball player, a member of France men's national volleyball team in 1996–2007, a participant of the Volleyball at the 2004 Summer Olympics – Men's tournament, 2004 Olympic Games, a bronze medalist of the 2002 FIVB Men's World Championship, 2002 World Championship, a silver medalist of the 2003 Men's European Volleyball Championship, 2003 European Championship, 1997 French Champion. 2007–08 CEV Champions League
The 2007–08 CEV Champions League was the 49th edition of the highest level European volleyball club competition organised by the European Volleyball Confederation. Participating teams League round 24 teams will be drawn to 6 pools of 4 teams each. The 1st – 2nd ranked will qualify for the Play-off 12 teams. If the organizer of the final four is one of the above qualified teams in this case this team directly qualifies for the final four and the 3rd ranked team with the best score will also qualify for the Play-off 12 teams (replaces the organizer of the Final Four Tournament). CEV Champions League
The CEV Champions League is the top official competition for men's volleyball clubs from the whole of Europe. The competition is organised every year by the European Volleyball Confederation. Formula (2018–19 to present) Qualification A total of 20 teams participate in the main competition, with 18 teams being allocated direct vacancies on the basis of ranking list for European Cup Competitions, and 2 teams from the qualification rounds. League round 20 teams take part in the League round where they are split in to 5 groups. France Men's National Volleyball Team
The France national men's volleyball team represents the country in international competitions and friendly matches. It was the reigning European Champion in 2015 and is ranked 2nd (as of 25th July 2022) in the FIVB world ranking. France have been competing in the World League ever since the inaugural edition in 1990 and continuously since 1999. In 2006 they finished second to Brazil but had their share of disappointment in subsequent seasons. In 2009 they narrowly missed making the Final Six, falling at the last hurdle to Slovenia. They suffered another setback in 2010 when they again missed the finals and finished 12th. France competed at the Olympic Games for the fourth time in Rio 2016, finishing ninth.
