Franklin County Courier
The ''Franklin County Courier'' is a weekly newspaper in Enosburg Falls, Vermont USA which is released on Thursdays. It is more often referred to as the ''County Courier.'' The ''County Courier'', which has an estimated circulation of 4,100, serves Franklin County as well as the communities of Alburgh, Jeffersonville, Waterville, and Belvidere, Vermont. The current editor of the County Courier is Greg Lemoreaux. Enosburg Falls, Vermont
Enosburg Falls is a village in the town of Enosburgh in Franklin County, Vermont, in the United States. The population was 1,356 at the 2020 census. Geography The village is located in the northwest corner of the town of Enosburgh along the Missisquoi River and its falls. The village center is north of the river, but the village limits extend south of the river as well. Vermont Routes 105 and 108 pass through the village together as Main Street. Route 105 leads northeast to Richford and southwest to St. Albans, the Franklin County seat. Route 108 leads north to the West Berkshire Border Crossing at the Canada–United States border north of East Franklin and south to Jeffersonville. Franklin County is a county located in the U.S. state of Vermont. As of the 2020 census, the population was 49,946. Its county seat is the city of St. Albans. It borders the Canadian province of Quebec. The county was created in 1792 and organized in 1796. Franklin County is part of the Burlington metropolitan area. History Franklin County is one of several Vermont counties created from land claimed by Vermont on January 15, 1777, when Vermont declared itself to be a state distinct from New York.
