Franklin is a town in Jackson County, Wisconsin, United States. The population was 325 at the 2000 census. The unincorporated community of Franklin is located in the town. The ghost town of Rogneys was also located in the town. Geography According to the United States Census Bureau, the town has a total area of 36.6 square miles (94.8 km2), all of it land. Demographics As of the census of 2000, there were 325 people, 129 households, and 94 families residing in the town. The population density was 8.9 people per square mile (3.4/km2). There were 175 housing units at an average density of 4.8 per square mile (1.8/km2). The racial makeup of the town was 100.00% White. Wisconsin State Assembly
The Wisconsin State Assembly is the lower house of the Wisconsin Legislature. Together with the smaller Wisconsin Senate, the two constitute the legislative branch of the U.S. state of Wisconsin. Representatives are elected for two-year terms, elected during the fall elections. If a vacancy occurs in an Assembly seat between elections, it may be filled only by a special election.
