Frankie Lee
Frankie Lee (December 31, 1911 – July 29, 1970), was an American child actor. He appeared in 56 films between 1916 and 1925. Best remembered in the 1919 film '' The Miracle Man'', he was the little boy on crutches healed by the phony faith healer just after Lon Chaney. He is the older brother of child actor Davey Lee. He was born in Gunnison, Colorado, United States. Death On July 29, 1970, Lee was shot in the head four times while he was asleep in his studio apartment in Los Angeles, California, 5 months before his 59th birthday. His cause of death was due to homicide. Gunnison is a home rule municipality that is the county seat and the most populous municipality of Gunnison County, Colorado. The city population was 6,560 at the 2020 United States Census. Gunnison was named in honor of John W. Gunnison, a United States Army officer who surveyed for a transcontinental railroad in 1853. History The City of Gunnison got its name from the first known European-American explorer of the area, John W. Gunnison. He was searching for a route for the transcontinental railroad in 1853 and only stayed for three days before traveling west to Utah. Gunnison saw its first population increase in the 1870s, due to the mining surge throughout the state. The railroad arrived soon after in 1880 to appreciative miners, ranchers, and farmers. ''Bonds of Love'' is a 1919 American silent romantic drama film directed by Reginald Barker and starring Pauline Frederick. It is based on the 1906 Arthur Wing Pinero play ''His House in Order''. Distributed by Goldwyn Pictures, the film is now considered lost. Plot Una Sayre, a governess in widower Daniel Cabot's home, saves his son, young Jimmy Cabot, from drowning. Through her attention to the child, she wins the love of her employer despite the plotting of Lucy and Harry Beekman, his late wife's brother and sister. When Una discovers a love letter written by a man whom the first wife was seeing, she visits him and demands that he return all of her letters.
