Franka Batelić
Franka Batelić (born 7 June 1992), also known as Franka, is a Croatian singer-songwriter. She rose to fame as the winner of the first season of ''Showtime''. She represented Croatia in the Eurovision Song Contest 2018 with the song "Crazy". Life and career 1992–2006: Early life and education Franka Batelić was born on 7 June 1992 in Rijeka to Ingrid and Damir Batelić. She has a younger brother Nikola who is the singer and guitarist of the Labin-based band "Storm". Batelić began singing at the age of three, initially singing as a soloist with the "Minicantanti" choir and also sang in the church choir of St. Andrew Catholic parish in Rabac. Batelić learned to play piano at the Music school, while her father thought her guitar. After finishing elementary and high school in her hometown, Batelić spent two semesters at the Berklee College of Music, and later enrolled at the Zagreb School of Law. The Eurovision Song Contest 2009 was the 54th edition of the Eurovision Song Contest. It took place in Moscow, Russia, following the country's victory at the with the song "Believe (Dima Bilan song), Believe" by Dima Bilan. OGAE
The (OGAE) () is a non-governmental and non-profit international organisation, consisting of 42 Eurovision Song Contest fan clubs from across Europe and beyond. It was founded in 1984 in Savonlinna, Finland by Jaripekka Koikkalainen. Four non-profit competitions are organised by the OGAE every year to promote national popular music to Eurovision fans around the world. Opatija (; it, Abbazia; german: Sankt Jakobi) is a town and a municipality in Primorje-Gorski Kotar County in western Croatia. Colonia is a Croatian dance music duo from Vinkovci, Croatia. The band has released thirteen albums and over 35 singles to date with various songs and albums gaining platinum status.
