Frank Ritchie
Francis Anderson Ritchie, known as Frank Ritchie, is a New Zealand radio broadcaster, Media Chaplain, and ordained Christian Minister who is a Sunday evening radio host on Newstalk ZB. Early life Raised in Te Aroha, Ritchie was the son of an alcoholic absent father and a mother on the DPB. Broadcasting career After beginning his working career as a painter & decorator, Ritchie's first introduction to broadcasting was on Christian radio network Life FM as a regular panelist. In his early 20s Ritchie began hosting Life FM's nationwide talkback programme ''The Green Room'', which he did for 8 years. Ritchie also hosted other programmes on Life FM including the night show and then drive show. Rhema Media
Rhema Media (previously known as Rhema Broadcasting Group or RBG) is a Christian media organisation in New Zealand. It owns radio networks Rhema, Life FM and Star, and television station Shine TV. It also publishes Bob Gass's quarterly devotional publication ''The Word For Today'', and a youth version called '' The Word For You Today''. Rhema Media is based in Newton, Auckland and is the founding organisation of United Christian Broadcasters (UCB). Rhema Media was set up in the 1960s by Christchurch evangelical Richard Berry, following the success of Ecuadorian Christian short-wave radio station HCJB. Christian Broadcasting Association
The Christian Broadcasting Association (CBA) is a New Zealand non-profit radio production company, set up to produce Christian programmes for secular radio stations and non-Christian audiences. It predominantly produces programmes for Newstalk ZB and Radio Sport. According to the association's website, it aims to "share the heart of the Christian faith in mainstream media". The association's programmes are presented by a range of announcers with secular broadcasting experience, including parenting advisers Ian Grant and John Cowan, writer John Cooney, documentary maker Rob Harley, TV personality Petra Bagust, minister Frank Ritchie, media consultant Tim Sisarich, One News reporter Joy Reid, voice talent Julia Bloore and TV personality Dayna Vawdrey.
