Frank Mays
Frances Mays (born December 1, 1990) is an American football defensive lineman who most recently played for the Bloomington Edge of the Indoor Football League (IFL). He played college football at Florida A&M University and attended Bemidji High School in Bemidji, Minnesota. He has also been a member of the Philadelphia Eagles and Tampa Bay Storm. Early life Mays attended Bemidji High School, where he only began to play sports during his senior year when he decided to try out for the football team. College career Mays played for the Central Lakes College Raiders from 2010 to 2011 where he was named honorable mention Division III All-American and the Florida A&M from 2012 to 2013. Professional career Philadelphia Eagles In 2014, Mays signed as an undrafted free agent with the Philadelphia Eagles. On August 23, 2014, Mays was waived by the Eagles. In gridiron football, a lineman is a player who specializes in play at the line of scrimmage. The linemen of the team currently in possession of the ball are the offensive line, while linemen on the opposing team are the defensive line. A number of NFL rules specifically address restrictions and requirements for the offensive line, whose job is to help protect the quarterback from getting sacked for a loss, or worse, fumbling.
