Frank Gagliano (playwright)
Francis Xavier Gagliano (born March 20, 1937), often referred to as Gags, is a longtime professional track and field coach. He currently coaches the New Jersey-New York Track Club. Personal Gagliano was born to parents Perry and Clara Gagliano and grew up on E238th St in the Bronx, NY where he attended Mount Saint Michael for high school. He would attend [University of Richmond)and play quarterback for their football team while attending Officers Candidate School during a couple summers. After graduation he would spend eight years as a reserve in the Marine Corps. Following college he played professionally in the Canadian Football League for the Hamilton Tiger-Cats and London Lords. A year later in 1961, he moved back to marry his wife Roberta Arnold. Gagliano then became a teacher at Roselle Catholic in New Jersey and began coaching their track team. Gags
A gag is usually an item or device designed to prevent speech, often as a restraint device to stop the subject from calling for help and keep its wearer silent. This is usually done by blocking the mouth, partially or completely, or attempting to prevent the tongue, lips, or jaw from moving in the normal patterns of speech. The more "effective" a gag appears to be, the more hazardous it is. For example duct tape is a fairly effective method of keeping a person's mouth shut but can be hazardous if the subject cannot breathe freely through the nose (for example if they have the common cold). For this reason, a gagged person should never be left alone. The use of gags is commonly depicted in soap operas and crime fiction, particularly in comics and novels. Delilah DiCrescenzo
Delilah DiCrescenzo (; born February 9, 1983) is an American distance runner. She competes in the women's 3000 metres steeplechase. She is a 2001 graduate of Queen of Peace High School in Burbank, Illinois and a 2005 graduate of Columbia University, where she majored in sociology. In May 2011, DiCrescenzo received her master's degree in Sports Management, also from Columbia University. She now competes for the New York Athletic Club and trains with the NJ-NY Track Club under the guidance of Coach Frank Gagliano. As of 2013 she was sponsored by Puma and continued to compete on a worldwide level. She is also well known as the subject of the Plain White T's platinum hit "Hey There Delilah". Christopher Carl "Chris" Giesting (born December 10, 1992) is an American track and field sprinter who competes in the 400-meter dash. He was a gold medalist in the 4 × 400-meter relay at the 2016 IAAF World Indoor Championships. He ran collegiately for the Notre Dame Fighting Irish and won one NCAA indoor title. Career Born in Indianapolis to Terry Giesting and Suzanne Westerfeld, Giesting grew up in Batesville, Indiana and attended Batesville High School, where he was part of the school's basketball, track, and cross country running teams. Kyle Merber
Kyle Merber (born November 19, 1990) is a former American mid-distance runner who specialized in the mile and the 1500 metres. He was sponsored by Hoka One One and competed for the New Jersey New York Track Club before retiring from the sport in 2021. Running career High school In 6th grade, Merber began sprint training with Charlie Bell, a local high school coach from New Jersey. Donald Cabral (born December 12, 1989) is an American Cross country running, cross country and track and field, track runner from Connecticut who went on to star at Princeton University. He has been most successful in the Steeplechase (athletics), steeplechase, but has also been a National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) All-American in cross country and the 5000 meters, as well as the Ivy League champion at the 3000 meters. Nicole Tully (née Schappert; born October 30, 1986) is an American middle- and long-distance runner. She holds best of 4:05.89 minutes for the 1500 meters and 15:05.58 minutes for the 5000 meters.
