Frank Dunell
Frank Dunell (born 17 March 1958) is a former Australian rules footballer who played with the Essendon Football Club, Essendon Bombers and the Brisbane Bears in the Australian Football League, Victorian Football League (VFL). Originally from AFL Queensland, Queensland Australian Football League (QAFL) club Zillmere Eagles Australian Football Club, Windsor-Zillmere, Dunell was recruited by the Essendon Bombers and made his senior VFL debut in 1979 VFL season, 1979. Dunell played in many positions during his career, including half back, the wing, forward pocket and at full forward. He was first recruited as a high flying forward from Windsor Zillmere however his mosT consistent form was found when he played down back. He missed the 83 grandfinal against the Hawks along with Ron Andrews and both played major roles in winning the reserve grade final against Collingwood that day. Zillmere Eagles Australian Football Club
Zillmere Eagles Australian Football Club (formerly Windsor-Zillmere, North Brisbane and Northern Eagles) is an Australian rules football club based in the suburb of Zillmere in the northern suburbs of Brisbane. The team plays in the QAFA Division 4. It reformed the senior side in 2013 and it was undefeated all year in the SEQAFL State Div 4 northern competition. Zillmere once competed in the AFL Queensland Australian Football League, where it ceased to play in 2008. The club also fields women's (in the AFL Queensland Women's League) and junior teams. Samuel Luke Dunell (born 21 February 1990) is an Australian rules football player who played for the St Kilda Football Club in the Australian Football League (AFL) and then played for Williamstown in the Victorian Football League (VFL) from 2015-2019 where he played 100 games for them, kicking 158 goals. He played for Victoria against SA in 2016 and was twice named in the VFL Team of the Year. He finished 2nd in the VFL Liston trophy in 2015 capping off the season with an all conquering premiership win against Box Hill at Docklands. At one stage he was considered the best player in the VFL. He was Club leading goalkicker in 2015 with 41 majors and 2016 with 37 goals, and was runner-up in the Club best and fairest in 2015 and in third place in 2016. The 1988 VFL season was the 92nd season of the Victorian Football League (VFL), the highest level senior Australian rules football competition and administrative body in Victoria, and by reason of it featuring clubs from New South Wales, Queensland and Western Australia, the ''de facto'' highest level senior competition in Australia. The Queensland Australian Football League (QAFL) is an Australian rules football competition organised by the AFL Queensland, contested by clubs from South East Queensland.
