Frank Clark (footballer)
Frank Clark (born 9 September 1943) is an English former footballer and manager, and former chairman of Nottingham Forest. Clark played in over 400 games for Newcastle United before moving to Nottingham Forest where he won the European Cup. After retiring as a player, he managed Leyton Orient for nine years (followed by a two-year spell as the club's managing director) and then returned to Nottingham Forest as manager between 1993 and 1996. He then managed Manchester City for just over a year. Playing career He started his career at Crook Town. He started his professional career at Newcastle United, and played a total of 464 games for them between 1962 and 1975. He was part of Newcastle's 1969 Inter-Cities Fairs Cup Final 6-2 aggregate win against Újpesti Dózsa. He signed for Brian Clough at Nottingham Forest on a free transfer in July 1975. Frank Clark (politician)
Frank Clark (March 28, 1860 – April 14, 1936) was an American lawyer and politician who served in public and private practice for some 50 years, including 20 years in the United States Congress. Born in Eufaula, Alabama, Clark attended law school in Georgia and was admitted to the bar there in 1881, beginning in private practice in Newnan. In 1884 he moved to Florida, where he spent most of his life as a politician and lawyer in public and private practice. One year later, Clark was elected city attorney of Bartow, Polk County, Florida, for 1885-86. He returned to private practicing for three years until winning the first of two two-year terms - ten years apart - in the Florida House of Representatives. Between the end of his first term in 1891 and his re-election in 1899, Clark worked at his law practice in-between his 1893 appointed to a four-year term as assistant U.S. attorney for Southern Florida. Frank Hamilton Clark (September 26, 1844 – November 29, 1882) was an American railroad executive and banker. He was president of the Lake Superior and Mississippi Railroad. Early life Clark was born in Philadelphia, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Clark was the fourth and youngest son of Sarah Crawford Dodge and Enoch White Clark. His father was the founder of the financial firm Clark, Dodge and Co., also known as E. W. Clark & Co., E. W. Clark & Co., in Philadelphia in 1837 and by mid-century had become one of the city's 25 millionaires. There is obviously some confusion by the source; Clark died in 1856. Frank Dominick Clark (born June 14, 1993), nicknamed "The Shark", is an American football defensive end for the Kansas City Chiefs of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at Michigan. As a junior, he was a 2013 All-Big Ten second-team selection by the coaches and honorable mention selection by the media for the 2013 team. Clark was drafted by the Seattle Seahawks in the second round of the 2015 NFL Draft. After spending his rookie year in a reduced backup role, Clark totaled 10 sacks in his sophomore season. He continued his high level of play the following two years, making a combined 22 sacks and five forced fumbles. Following the 2018 season, the Seahawks placed a franchise tag on Clark before trading him to the Chiefs, who subsequently signed him to a $105 million extension.
