Frane Vinko Golem
Frane Vinko Golem (4 October 1938 – 11 August 2007) was a Croatian diplomat and politician. Golem, a physician by profession, was the Croatian Minister of Foreign Affairs from November 1990 to May 1991. In 1992 he founded the Department for Endocrine Surgery at the KBC Šalata in Zagreb. The Homeland War Memorial ( hr, Spomenica Domovinskog rata) is a Croatian state medal awarded to both Croatian and foreign citizens who participated in the nation's Croatian War of Independence as a volunteer, part of the Croatian Army and Croatian Council of Defence or in some other role. The medal was widely granted, given to over 430,000 people who participated in the war in some form.
