Francky Dury
Francky Dury (born 11 October 1957) is a Belgian football manager. He is unemployed after most recently managing Zulte Waregem, the team he coached for almost 20 years in total. Amateur footballing career and early coaching career Born in Roeselare, Dury began his career as an amateur footballer in the Belgian lower leagues playing for Hulste Sport from 1971 to 1981. He made his first coaching experiences at Harelbeke where he was in charge of the second team, as well as at KSK Beveren-Leie, K.S.K. Ronse and R.R.C. Tournaisien. Roeselare
Roeselare (; french: Roulers, ; West Flemish: ''Roeseloare'') is a Belgian city and municipality in the Flemish province of West Flanders. The municipality comprises the city of Roeselare proper and the towns of Beveren, Oekene and Rumbeke. In association football, the Belgian Golden Shoe ( nl, Gouden Schoen, french: Soulier d'Or) is an award given in Belgium at the beginning of each civil year to the best footballer of the Belgian First Division A for the past year. The trophy is sponsored by the Belgian newspaper ''Het Laatste Nieuws''. The voters are a selection of Belgian press specialists and football personalities. They are invited to vote for the best player of the competition for both half seasons (previous season second half and current season first half) and each get to submit a top three, scoring 3, 2 and 1 point respectively. The Belgian professional football awards is a collection of awards given at the end of each season since 1983. Back then, the only award was the Manager of the Year. 2016–17 Belgian Cup
The 2016–17 Belgian Cup, called the Croky Cup for sponsorship reasons, is the 62nd season of Belgium's annual football cup competition. The competition began on 30 July 2016 and is scheduled to end with the final in March 2017. The winners of the competition will qualify for the 2017–18 UEFA Europa League Group Stage. Standard Liège were the defending champions, but were eliminated in the 6th round by ASV Geel. Competition format The competition consists of ten rounds. Except for the semi-finals, all rounds are single-match elimination rounds. When tied after 90 minutes in the first three rounds, penalties are taken immediately. In rounds four to seven and the quarterfinals, when tied after 90 minutes first an extra time period of 30 minutes are played, then penalties are taken if still necessary. The Belgian Cup (french: link=no, Coupe de Belgique; nl, Beker van België []; german: link=no, Belgischer Fußballpokal) is the main Single-elimination tournament, knockout association football, football competition in Belgium, run by the Belgian Football Association, Royal Belgian FA. The 2012–13 season of the Belgian Pro League (also known as ''Jupiler Pro League'' for sponsorship reasons) was the 110th season of top-tier football in Belgium. It started on 28 July 2012 with the first match of the regular season between Kortrijk and defending champions Anderlecht, and ended on 26 May 2013, which was the return leg of the European playoff. The Belgian Pro League,(officially the Jupiler Pro League due to sponsorship reasons with Jupiler), is the top league competition for association football clubs in Belgium. Contested by 18 clubs since the 2020–21 season and reduced to 16 teams from the 2023–24 season onwards, it operates on a system of promotion and relegation with the Challenger Pro League.
