Franck Monnet
Franck Gilbert Yannick Monnet (born 13 September 1967, in Le Mans) is a French singer-songwriter. He wrote songs for the following artists: Vanessa Paradis (collaboration with Matthieu Chedid for the albums Bliss, 2000, and Divinidylle, 2007), Tryo (2003), Murray Head (2006), Claire Diterzi (2005), Enrico Macias (2006), Emily Loizeau (with whom he produced the album L’Autre Bout du Monde in 2005). ... in 2000 was awarded the Grand Prix de l’Académie Charles Cros for his album Les Embellies. He composed the soundtrack for the movie Mer Belle a Agiter (Pascal Chaumeil), produced by France 3 in 2004. In the same year, he was nominated for Prix Constantin for his album Au Grand Jour. He was also a part of the jury of multiple festivals: Chorus des Hauts-de-Seine's Song Contest (2003), Créteil International Women's Film Festival (2008), Wellington Song Contest, with Dame Jane Pierard (2011), Randell Cottage Residency (2022). {{unreferenced, date=February 2011 The Prix Constantin is an annual French music prize awarded to the best album of an artist who has come to prominence during the course of the past year. It was inaugurated in 2002, following the example of the Mercury Music Prize, as an attempt to bring to light artists who have not had major media coverage ("the talents of today and tomorrow"). It is therefore open to individuals or groups who have not yet had a gold album, with the exception of the nominated album. Its basic purpose is to help newer artists who are not very popular to gain publicity. Camélia Jordana Aliouane (born 15 September 1992) is a French-Algerian pop singer. She rose to fame after participating in the television show ''Nouvelle Star'', the French version of ''Pop Idol'', in 2009, where she came in third. Life and career Jordana was born on 15 September 1992 in Toulon, to French parents of Algerian descent. Her father Hachemi is of Berber Kabyle origin and her mother Zélihka is from Oran. She grew up in La Londe-les-Maures with her older sister and younger brother. At the age of sixteen, she decided to audition for the seventh season of Nouvelle Star in Marseille, and managed to convince the jury with her version of Louis Armstrong's ''What a wonderful world''. She finished in third place. After her elimination, she signed a record deal with Sony Music and released her eponymous debut album on 29 March 2010.
