José Francisco Vidal Bornay (1941 – 6 October 2023) was a Spanish actor Biography Vidal was born in Ibi in 1941 and grew up in Ceuta. During his youth he moved to Madrid to study political sciences at the University of Madrid. It was here, out of curiosity, he attended the Círculo Medina, where the actor and director Miguel Narros gave acting classes. There, Vidal discovered his theatrical vocation, which was one of his great passions. The Círculo Medina led, at the beginning of the sixties, to the Teatro Estudio in Madrid, where William Layton introduced the Stanislavski method to Spain, together with Miguel Narros himself. The project was transformed in 1968 into the Independent Experimental Theater - TEI, which would last until 1978. Vidal was involved in this project, teaching acting classes. Francisco Vidal Gormaz
Francisco Vidal Gormaz (July 1, 1837 in Santiago, Chile – February 5, 1907) was a Chilean naval officer and hydrographer who explored the coasts of Chile including some river systems and lakes. During the 1850s he explored and surveyed several times Maullín River with Francisco Hudson. Before being lost at sea in 1859 Hudson is thought to have been a major influence on Vidal Gormaz. He participated in the Occupation of the Araucanía performing reconnaissance missions in the coasts of Arauco and Toltén. In 1863, he was named director of the Maritime School of Ancud (''Escuela Maritima de Ancud''). In 1874, he became the first director of the newly created Hydrographic Office (''Oficina Hidrográfica''). In 1884, he became General Inspector of Lighthouses and participated in the International Meridian Conference. Francisco Javier Vidal Salinas (born 20 September 1953) is a Chilean politician and scholar. In 1971, he began his political career at the rightist National Party. He was Chile's Minister of National Defense from March 2009 to March 2010. Before this position he served as Minister Secretary General of Government of Chile during the administrations of Ricardo Lagos and Michelle Bachelet and Interior Minister during Lagos's mandate. He is a professor of history at the University of Chile The University of Chile ( es, Universidad de Chile) is a public research university in Santiago, Chile. It was founded on November 19, 1842, and inaugurated on September 17, 1843.
