2015 Algarve Cup
The 2015 Algarve Cup was the 22nd edition of the Algarve Cup, an invitational Women's association football, women's football tournament held annually in Portugal. It took place on 4–11 March. Format Because of the number of competitive teams this year, the format was changed. Previously Group C teams were unable to get into the final, which was played between Group A and B winners. This year however, the final was played between the two best group winners. Points awarded in the group stage followed the standard formula of three points for a win, one point for a draw and zero points for a loss. The 2017 UEFA European Women's Championship, commonly referred to as UEFA Women's Euro 2017, was the 12th edition of the UEFA Women's Championship, the quadrennial international football championship organised by UEFA for the women's national teams of Europe. The competition was expanded to 16 teams (from 12 teams in the previous edition). The Netherlands were declared as hosts by the UEFA Executive Committee on 4 December 2014. Germany's 22-year reign as champions of Europe was ended after losing 1–2 to Denmark in the quarter-finals. In addition it was only Germany's second loss in the finals since 1993. Another former winner, Norway, lost to both finalists, the Netherlands and Denmark, and ended without goals or points. Mortágua ( or ) is a municipality in the district of Viseu, Portugal. The population in 2011 was 9,607, in an area of 251.18 km2. The present mayor is José Júlio Norte, elected in 2013 by the Social Democratic Party.
