Francisco Beltrame
Francisco Santiago Beltrame Echeverría (born 1952 in Montevideo) is a Uruguayan architect and politician. Graduated at the University of the Republic, he specialized in housing cooperatives. Afterwards he worked at MEVIR (organization in charge of eradicating unhealthy rural houses). In 2012 he was appointed Minister of Housing, Territorial Planning and Environment, replacing the previous office holder Graciela Muslera. Broad Front (Uruguay)
The Broad Front ( es, Frente Amplio, FA) is a left-wing political coalition from Uruguay. It was the ruling party of Uruguay from 2005 to 2020 and has produced two presidents: José Mujica (2010–2015) and Tabaré Vázquez (2005–2010; 2015–2020). Since 1999, it has been the largest party in Uruguay's General Assembly. History Frente Amplio was founded as a coalition of more than a dozen fractured leftist parties and movements in 1971. The Cabinet of Uruguay is part of the executive branch of the Government of Uruguay. It is composed of thirteen cabinet ministers. Each is appointed by the President of Uruguay, and serves as the head of a particular executive department. It meets on Monday mornings at the Executive Tower of Montevideo, but sometimes meets at the Suarez Residence or at the Anchorena Presidential Estate.
