Francis Perrin (actor)
Francis Pierre Horton Perrin (born 10 October 1947) is a French actor, screenwriter and director. Career He enter the Comédie-Française in 1972, but left the following year. He headed the Théâtre Montansier in his birthplace from 1992 to 2000. In 2001, he was made Officier de l'ordre national du Mérite, in 2007 Officier de la Légion d'honneur and in 2016, Officier des Arts et Lettres. 2012 Cannes Film Festival
The 65th Cannes Film Festival was held from 16 to 27 May 2012. Italian film director Nanni Moretti was the President of the Jury for the main competition and British actor Tim Roth was the President of the Jury for the Un Certain Regard section. French actress Bérénice Bejo hosted the opening and closing ceremonies. The festival opened with the US film ''Moonrise Kingdom'', directed by Wes Anderson and closed with the late Claude Miller's final film '' Thérèse Desqueyroux''. The main announcement of the line-up took place on 19 April. The official poster of the festival features Marilyn Monroe, to mark the 50th anniversary of her death. The Palme d'Or was awarded to Austrian director Michael Haneke for his film '' Amour''. Haneke previously won the Palme d'Or in 2009 for '' The White Ribbon''. Heywood "Woody" Allen (born Allan Stewart Konigsberg; November 30, 1935) is an American film director, writer, actor, and comedian whose career spans more than six decades and multiple Academy Award-winning films. ''Play It Again, Sam'' is a 1969 Broadway play written by and starring Woody Allen. A substantial hit, it ran for more than a year and helped build Allen's reputation as a performer who could portray a comedic romantic lead as well as the neurotic persona for which he was best known at the time. Alain-René Lesage (; 6 May 166817 November 1747; older spelling Le Sage) was a French novelist and playwright. Pierre Barillet (24 August 1923 – 8 January 2019) was a French playwright. Biography Barillet was born in Paris, France. Passionate about theatre since childhood, he wrote his first play, ''Les Héritiers'', in 1945 after being a law student. It was followed by ''Les Amants de Noël'', performed at the Théâtre de Poche. He also worked as a radio broadcaster, reading novels and plays with Agnès Capri. He first experienced success in 1951 with ''Le Don d'Adèle'', which he wrote along with Jean-Pierre Gredy.
