Francis Fuller The Elder
Francis Fuller the elder (1637?–1701), was an English Nonconformist divine. Fuller, born in or about 1637, was youngest son of John Fuller, vicar of Stebbing and minister of St. Martin's, Ironmonger Lane, London. He was educated at Queens' College, Cambridge, where he proceeded M.A. in 1660, and was incorporated at Oxford on 14 July 1663. He found himself, however, unable to conform, and was accordingly expelled from Warkworth, Northamptonshire, when acting as curate to Dr. Temple, the incumbent. Shortly afterwards he migrated to the west of England, preaching occasionally at Bath and Bristol. Finally he settled in London as assistant to Timothy Cruso at the English presbyterian meeting-house in Poor Jewry Lane. He continued with Cruso's successor, William Harris, until his death on 21 July 1701, at the age of sixty-four. Francis Fuller The Younger
Francis Fuller the younger (1670–1706), was an English medical writer. Fuller was the second son of Francis Fuller, nonconformist divine, and his wife Bridget. He was born at Bristol, and entered at St. John's College, Cambridge, in 1687. He graduated B.A. at Cambridge in 1691, and M.A. in 1704. He had severe hypochondriasis following his too vigorous external treatment of an attack of itch. The hypochondriasis was accompanied by dyspepsia, and he cured himself by exercise on horseback and by emetics. This led him to write a book on the use of exercise in the treatment of disease, called ''Medicina Gymnastica, or a Treatise concerning the power of Exercise with respect to the Animal Œconomy, and the great necessity of it in the Cure of several Distempers'', 1704. A second edition was published in the same year, a third in 1707, a fifth in 1718, a sixth in 1728, and a ninth and last in 1777. Francis Fuller (British Army Officer)
Major-general Francis Fuller (died 10 June 1748) was an officer of the British Army. He was the elder son of Edward Fuller, a descendant of the Fullers of Uckfield in Sussex. On 19 July 1711 he was appointed lieutenant (ranking as a captain in the Army) in the 1st Regiment of Foot Guards. He was promoted to captain and lieutenant-colonel on 11 June 1715, second major of the regiment on 5 June 1733, first major on 5 July 1735, and lieutenant-colonel of the regiment on 15 December 1738. On 28 August 1739 Fuller was appointed colonel of the former George Reade's Regiment of Foot. He was promoted to brigadier-general on 18 February 1742 and major-general on 12 July 1743, and was involved in the Battle at Port-la-Joye. Francis Charles Fuller
Sir Francis Charles Bernard Dudley Fuller, CMG, KBE (1866–1944) was the chief commissioner to the Ashanti Empire during World War I. He joined the Colonial Service in 1884. He was posted to Fiji as his first assignment. He was appointed chief commissioner to the Ashanti Region in 1908.Other sources use 1905 He was awarded the CMG in the 1906 Birthday Honours. Dora Montefiore
Dorothy Frances Montefiore (; 20 December 1851 – 21 December 1933), known as Dora Montefiore, was an English-Australian women's suffragist, socialist, poet, and autobiographer. Early life Born Dorothy Frances Fuller at Kenley Manor near Coulsdon, Surrey, daughter of Francis Fuller and Mary Ann Fuller (née Drew). Motefiore's father was involved with railway engineering and was a driving force behind the Great Exhibition. Her mother was a daughter of George Drew, a property speculator who developed Caterham. Dora was educated by governesses and tutors and at Mrs Creswell's school at Brighton. In 1874, Dora went to Sydney to assist her brother's wife. Dora returned briefly to England, and on her return to Sydney married Jewish merchant George Barrow Montefiore, son of Joseph Barrow Montefiore. They had two children.
