Coye Francies
Coye Glenn Francies (born November 15, 1986) is a former American football cornerback. Francies grew up in Rancho Cordova, California and played college football at American River, Oregon State, and San Jose State. In the 2009 NFL Draft, the Cleveland Browns drafted Francies in the sixth round. Early years At Cordova High School in Rancho Cordova, California, Francies lettered in football and track and field. Francies attended American River College from 2004–05. As a sophomore, he led the team in pass interceptions (11) and was named Mid-Empire Conference Defensive MVP. He also earned 2005 California Community College All-American honors and was listed as the No. 62 junior college player in the nation by ''Rivals.com''. Francies transferred to Oregon State University to continue his collegiate career. He played in all 14 games and started five times for the Beavers in the 2006 season. Duane Francies
First lieutenant Duane Francies (July 15, 1921 – May 5, 2004) was a military aviator who earned the Distinguished Flying Cross for his service. Early life He was the only son of Merritt Charles Francies and Kathleen Horan Francies. Duane witnessed the landing of Clyde Pangborn and Hugh Herndon after the first nonstop trans-Pacific flight, driving his desire to be a pilot. After graduation from Wenatchee High School in 1939, he attended Seattle Pacific College and Wenatchee Valley College where he had civilian pilot training. Military service Three days after Pearl Harbor, Francies enlisted with the Army. Along with his observer William Martin, both used their Colt 45 to down a German Storch on April 11, 1945. This story was related in Cornelius Ryan's book The Last Battle (Ryan) in 1966. Michael Francies (born 14 October 1956) is a British solicitor who specializes in equity financing. He is currently the managing partner of the London office of the United States firm, Weil, Gotshal & Manges LLP. In 2004 he won the "Partner of the Year" award at ''The Lawyer'' awards. He followed this by winning the "Deal Lawyer of the Year" award at the ''Legal Week'' awards in 2006. Early life and education Francies was born in Israel, but moved to the UK with his family as a young child. He did most of his schooling and university there. Christopher Cerell Francies RAN-sis(born July 26, 1982) is a former American football wide receiver. He was signed by the Green Bay Packers as an undrafted free agent in 2006. He played college football at Texas-El Paso. Francies is currently playing for the Utah Blaze of the Arena Football League Francies previously played for the New Orleans Saints and San Francisco 49ers.
