Marni Group S.r.l., commonly known as Marni, is an Italian luxury fashion house founded in 1994 by Consuelo Castiglioni in Milan, Italy. Marni was acquired by Italian fashion group OTB in 2015 and Francesco Risso was appointed Creative Director of the brand in 2016. History Marni was founded in Milan, Italy in 1994 by Swiss designer Consuelo Castiglioni. From 2000, the company began to open stores in high-end department stores. The Castiglioni family sold 60 percent of the company to Renzo Rosso's OTB Group in 2012 before the company was fully acquired by the OTB Group in 2015. Louise Wilson
Louise Janet Wilson (23 February 1962 – 16 May 2014) was a British professor of fashion design. Louise Wilson was based at the Central Saint Martins College of Arts and Design in London, where she was the course director of their MA in Fashion from 1992 until 2014. Her former students include Alexander McQueen, Jonathan Saunders, Louise Goldin, Christopher Kane, Marios Schwab, Peter Jensen, Richard Nicoll, Christopher Shannon, Yu Lun Eve Lin, Charles Jeffrey and Sophia Kokosalaki. Life and career Wilson was born in Cambridge, England, moving to the Scottish Borders later in her childhood. Alessandro Dell'Acqua (born 21 December 1962 in Naples) is a fashion designer. He presented his first prêt-à -porter collection at Milan Moda Donna in 1996 and his first men's line at Pitti in Florence in January 1998.
