Frances Bondad
Frances Bondad (born 21 January 1988) is a retired Australian professional golfer from Greystanes, Sydney. Frances played on the Ladies European Tour from 2008 to 2012. She won the 2011 Sanya Ladies Open in China. Amateur career Bondad was born in Los Angeles, California, and started playing golf at age 10 inspired by her father. Although she represents Australia, she is proud of her Filipina heritage. She won the 2004 Philippine Ladies Amateur and the 2005 Hong Kong Ladies Amateur, and was number one ranked amateur in Australia 2006–2007 after winning the 2007 Australian Women's Amateur Stroke Play Championship. She represented Australia at the 2006 Espirito Santo Trophy together with Emma Bennett and Kate Combes. The tournament was first played 2008 and meant to be a recurring annual event, but the 2009 tournament was cancelled due to financial difficulties and it never returned to the LET schedule. Vikki Laing
Vikki Laing (born 14 March 1981) is a Scottish professional golfer who played on the U.S.-based Futures Tour and the Ladies European Tour (LET), finishing 10th in the 2010 LET rankings. After a promising amateur career, Laing turned professional in the U.S. with high hopes in 2003 but never quite managed to fulfill her potential, as illustrated by her LET career earnings of just over £300,000. She finished runner-up five times on the LET and ALPG Tour, another professional win proving elusive after The Gettysburg Championship in 2007. The 2011 Ladies European Tour was a series of golf tournaments for elite female golfers from around the world which took place from February through December 2011. The tournaments were sanctioned by the Ladies European Tour (LET). The tour featured 24 official money events, as well as the Tenerife Ladies Match Play, the European Nations Cup and the Solheim Cup. Laura Davies
Dame Laura Jane Davies, (born 5 October 1963) is an English female professional golfer. She has achieved the status of her nation's most accomplished female golfer of modern times, being the first non-American to finish at the top of the LPGA money list as well as winning the Ladies European Tour (LET) Order of Merit a record seven times: in 1985, 1986, 1992, 1996, 1999, 2004 and 2006. As of 2018, Davies has 87 professional wins worldwide, with 20 on the LPGA Tour, including four majors. From 1985 to 2010, she won at least one individual title somewhere in the world every season, except for 2005, and was the first golfer, male or female, to win tournaments on five continents in one year. The Ladies Swiss Open is a women's professional golf tournament on the Ladies European Tour that is held in Switzerland. It was first played in 1996 and 1997, the first LET event in Switzerland since the Ladies Swiss Classic (1988–1990). It was played 2006–2012 with Deutsche Bank as the title sponsor. Royal Birkdale Golf Club is a golf course in the United Kingdom in North West England, located in Southport, Merseyside. It is one of the clubs in the rotation for both the Open Championship and Women's British Open and has hosted the Open Championship ten times from 1954 through 2017. AIB Ladies Irish Open
The Women's Irish Open is a professional golf tournament on the Ladies European Tour (LET), held in the Republic of Ireland. The tournament became part of the LET schedule in 1994 and ran for ten editions through 2003. After a four-year hiatus, the tournament was revived again in 2008 as part of the buildup to the 2011 Solheim Cup, scheduled for late September at Killeen Castle in County Meath. Killeen Castle hosted the Ladies Irish Open in early August, the week following the Women's British Open. Last played in 2012, the tournament returned in 2022, now held at Dromoland Castle in County Clare.
