Anne Gastinel
Anne Gastinel is a French cellist and professor. She was born on October 14, 1971, in the town of Tassin-la-Demi-Lune. Tassin-la-Demi-Lune is in the south east of France close to Lyon. She has three sisters and one brother. Both of her parents are musicians and passed their passion down to their children. Her father composes pieces and her mother plays the piano. Her musical career started at the age of four when she began playing one of her sister's cellos as well as began studying the piano and oboe. Her first televised concert with an orchestra was at the age of ten where she was a soloist (1981). One year after her televised solo, Gastinel entered the Lyons Conservatory School to begin her formal music education. At age 15 (1986), Gastinel finished first place in her class at the Musical Conservatory School in Lyon, France. Corum (Montpellier)
Montpellier's Corum is a building that houses both a conference centre and an opera house (Opéra Berlioz), and is located in the centre of the city in southern France. It was designed by Claude Vasconi and opened to the public in 1988. The building forms the visual closing of the ''Esplanade'' seen from the ''Place de la Comédie''. It is covered in slabs of pink marble. The high costs of the building were subject of political debate in the 1980s, mostly directed against then-mayor Georges Frêche. The Eurovision Young Musicians 2022 was the twentieth edition of the Eurovision Young Musicians. It took place at the Corum in Montpellier on 23 July 2022. The live show was hosted by French playwright Judith Chaine and Belgian radio presenter Vincent Delbushaye, with the Montpellier Occitanie National Opera Orchestra conducted by Pierre Dumoussaud. The Eurovision Young Musicians 2018 was the nineteenth edition of the Eurovision Young Musicians contest. It was hosted by the United Kingdom, for the first time since the inaugural contest in . David Guerrier (born 2 December 1984) is a French classical trumpeter and cornet player. Life Born in Pierrelatte, Guerrier began his musical studies in 1990 at the Conservatoire du Tricastin first at the piano, then at the age of seven, he began to play the trumpet in Serge Vivarès' class. He met Pierre Dutot in Grasse in 1994 during an internship and joined his class at the Conservatoire de Lyon in 1997 after having obtained a special exemption given his young age (13 years). He perfected his skills there until 2000, also learning the baroque trumpet with Jean-François Madeuf, already developing his taste for playing the works studied on the original instruments of the composition. Fanny Clamagirand (born 1984) is a French classical violinist. Biography and Career Born in 1984, Clamagirand started playing the violin at the age of seven. She was taught by L. Kolos, before joining J.J. Kantorow's postgraduate course at the CNSMPD (Paris Conservatory) in 2000, when she was sixteen. In 2003, she went on to study with I. Rashkovsky at London's Royal College of Music, where she was awarded her "Artist's Diploma" (2004).
