Non-returning countries included Albania, Estonia, Greece, Hungary, Israel, Malta, Russia, San Marino, Slovenia, Spain and United Kingdom. The winner of the event was the Czech Republic with Daniel Matejča's violin performance of the ''3rd'' and ''4th mvt'' from ''Violin Concerto No. 1'' by D. Shostakovich.
