Framed (Korman Novel)
''Framed'' is a 2010 children's novel written by Gordon Korman. It is the third installation in the ''Swindle (book), Swindle'' series. Plot summary The story takes place in Cedarville, while 'The Man with the Plan' Griffin Bing is having a hard time adjusting to his school's new atmosphere, which is more like a strict Boot camp (correctional), boot camp than a middle school. His new American football, football fanatic principal, Dr. Egan, does not like Griffin, due to his past. To make matters worse, somebody has stolen the priceless Super Bowl ring that was in the school's Display case, showcase, with Griffin's Retainer (orthodontic device), retainer that he recently lost left in its place. Things only go from bad to worse when Griffin is accused of stealing it by Egan, and Griffin is sent to a state school for juvenile delinquents. Gordon Korman
Gordon Korman (born October 23, 1963) is a Canadian American author. Korman has written 100 children's books, children's and young adult fiction books. Korman's books have sold more than 30 million copies worldwide over a career spanning four decades and have appeared at number one on The New York Times Best Seller list, ''The New York Times'' Best Seller list. Early life Korman was born in Montreal, Quebec, where he lived until 1970. He grew up in Thornhill, Ontario, Thornhill, Ontario (just north of Toronto) and attended German Mills Public School and public high school at Thornlea Secondary School. He moved to the United States to attend college at New York University where he studied film and film-writing. Juvenile delinquency, also known as juvenile offending, is the act of participating in unlawful behavior as a minor or individual younger than the statutory age of majority. In the United States of America, a juvenile delinquent is a person who commits a crime and is under a specific age. Most states specify a juvenile delinquent as an individual under 18 years of age while a few states have set the maximum age slightly different. In 2021, Michigan, New York, and Vermont raised the maximum age to under 19, and Vermont law was updated again in 2022 to include individuals under the age of 20. Only three states, Georgia, Texas, and Wisconsin still appropriate the age of a juvenile delinquent as someone under the age of 17. American Football
American football (referred to simply as football in the United States and Canada), also known as gridiron, is a team sport played by two teams of eleven players on a rectangular field with goalposts at each end.
