Fountain-Fort Carson High School (FFCHS) is a public high school in Fountain, Colorado, United States. It is part of the Fountain-Fort Carson School District 8 and serves Fort Carson in addition to Fountain. It has gained national attention for its close ties to the military, as a large percentage of students live on nearby Fort Carson. Approximately 40% of all students have either one or both parents on active duty in the military. The school's mascot is a Trojan warrior. Fountain, Colorado
The City of Fountain is a home rule municipality located in El Paso County, Colorado, United States. The city population was 29,802 at the 2020 United States Census, a +15.31% increase since the 2010 United States Census. Fountain is a part of the Colorado Springs, CO Metropolitan Statistical Area and the Front Range Urban Corridor. Fountain is located south of downtown Colorado Springs and just east of Fort Carson. Phil Loadholt
Philip Loadholt Jr. (born January 21, 1986) is a former American football offensive tackle. He played college football at Oklahoma, and played for the Minnesota Vikings of the National Football League (NFL) from 2009 until his retirement in 2015. High school career Loadholt attended Fountain Middle School and Fountain-Fort Carson High School in Fountain, Colorado, where he was a two-way lineman, team captain and a two-time All-State selection. His senior year of football ended in the second round to Palisade High School; in that match-up, he played against another two-time All-State selection, Matt Popick.
