Forum Sport
Forum Sport is a Dutch football club from Voorburg. Its main squad plays since 2013 in the Eerste Klasse. Homeground is Sportpark 't Loo and its colors are blue. History Forum Sport was founded on 1 July 1998 from a merger between DEVJO and SV Voorburg. DEVJO was founded on 15 July 1933, was originally a Christian football club and played on Saturdays. SV Voorburg played on Sundays. Forum Sport stopped Sunday football in 2005. Voorburg
Voorburg is a town and former municipality in the west part of the province of South Holland, Netherlands. Together with Leidschendam and Stompwijk, it makes up the municipality Leidschendam-Voorburg. It has a population of about 39,000 people. It is considered to be the oldest city in The Netherlands and celebrated its 2000th year of existence in 1988. However in Holland the status of 'city' normally commenced with the bestowing of a 'city charter' by its sovereign leader(s) and none available is that old. Eerste Klasse
The Eerste Klasse ( en, First Class) started as the 1st tier of football in the Netherlands and is now the 6th tier. The league is divided into eleven divisions, six for Saturday clubs and five for Sunday clubs. These divisions correspond to the six districts of the Royal Dutch Football Association: each district organises a Saturday competition and a Sunday competition, except for South II, which only has a Sunday competition. Each division consists of 14 teams. The champion of the Eerste Klasse divisions are promoted to the Vierde Divisie (formerly Hoofdklasse). Furthermore, a season is divided into two periods ( nl, periodes) of eight matches each. The winners of these periods qualify for promotion playoffs, provided they finish in the top nine overall in the season. Peter Jungschläger (born 22 May 1984) is a Dutch former professional footballer who played as a midfielder. Biography He previously played for VVV-Venlo, RBC Roosendaal, ADO Den Haag and De Graafschap. On 1 July 2011, he signed for Australian club Gold Coast United who play in the A-League. Eljero George Rinaldo Elia (born 13 February 1987) is a Dutch professional footballer who plays as a winger. He turned professional at ADO Den Haag and then played for Twente before moving abroad to represent Hamburger SV, Juventus and Werder Bremen.
