Forum Buenavista
Forum Buenavista is a shopping mall built atop the Buenavista Station in central Mexico City, where Avenida de los Insurgentes meets Eje 1 Norte. It was developed by GICSA, opened in 2009, and as of 2015 it was one of the ten largest malls in Greater Mexico City. While the train station and tracks occupy the ground floor, the mall occupies three floors above, stretching 400 meters from south to north. It is anchored by the Sears, Fábricas de Francia, and Coppel department stores; Best Buy, Soriana hypermarket, Sanborns, Muebles Dico furniture, Cinépolis multicinemas, Old Navy, H&M, and more than 50 freestanding and food-court restaurants, including Applebee's and Chili's Chili's Grill & Bar is an American casual dining restaurant chain. Buenavista Railway Station
Buenavista is a commuter railway station in Mexico City. The station provided intercity train services from Ferrocarriles Nacionales de México. Since June 2008, the station serves as the terminus of the Tren Suburbano commuter rail service. Atop the ground-level station and tracks is one of the city's largest shopping malls, Forum Buenavista. The adjacent Buenavista metro station is also the terminus of Mexico City Metro Line B, that runs from this station to Ciudad Azteca in the State of Mexico. Additionally, three Metrobús lines serve the area. Avenida De Los Insurgentes
Avenida de los Insurgentes ( en, Avenue of the Insurgents), sometimes known simply as Insurgentes, is the longest avenue in Mexico City, with a length of on a north-south axis across the city. Insurgentes has its origins in what was during the early 20th century known as the Via del Centenario which ran from city centre to the southern suburbs. Many decades later, after it was paved and widened, its name was changed to Avenida de los Insurgentes, apparently happening during the administration of President Miguel Alemán, when the area attracted wealthy urbanites for sophisticated, modern housing. Eje Vial
The system of Ejes viales (singular: ''eje vial'', lit. "road axis") in Mexico City is a large network of wide arterial roads with coordinated traffic signals. They are mainly directed in one-way with a single lane going in the opposite direction used exclusively by public transportation. The network was a project of Mexico City mayor Carlos Hank González and the first part of the network, after extensive construction and demolition of buildings and removal of trees, opened in 1979. Coppel is a nationwide department store in Mexico based in Culiacán, Sinaloa and founded in 1941.
