Forrest Hill Milford United AFC was an amateur association football club from Forrest Hill, New Zealand. They last competed in the Lotto Sport Italia NRFL Premier 2020 season before they merged with Glenfield Rovers to form Northern Rovers. History The club was founded in 1975, ever since the club played in local championships and won two NRFL Division 1 titles. Forrest Hill Milford reached the Quarter-Final of the 2009 Chatham Cup, where they were beaten by eventual champions Wellington Olympic 4–3. In 2015, Forest Hill won the NRFL Division 1 title, finishing 5 points above 2nd placed Tauranga City United, and gaining promotion to the NRFL Premier. Again in 2019 the club won the NRFL Division 1 title, so gaining promotion to the 2020 NRFL Premier after being relegated from NRFL Premier in 2017. Forrest Hill is a suburb located on the North Shore of Auckland, New Zealand. Forrest Hill is under the local governance of Auckland Council. It was previously governed by the North Shore City Council, which amalgamated into Auckland Council on 1 November 2010. Glenfield Rovers was a semi-professional football club based in Glenfield, New Zealand. The men's team competed in the NRFL Division 1 in 2020, having suffered relegation from the NRFL Premier in 2019. Northern Rovers Football Club is an amateur football club based in Glenfield, New Zealand. Formed in 2020 as an amalgamation between Glenfield Rovers and Forrest Hill-Milford United, Northern Rovers men's team currently competes in the NRFL Championship, while the women's team competes in the NRFL Premiership which is part of the qualifying leagues for the New Zealand Women's National League. The club also competes in both the Chatham and Kate Sheppard Cups, New Zealand's premier knockout tournaments for men and women. 2009 Chatham Cup
The 2009 Chatham Cup is New Zealand's 82nd knockout football competition. The 2009 competition had a preliminary round, a qualification round, and four rounds proper before quarter-finals, semi-finals, and a final. In all, 130 teams took part in the 2009 competition.
