The Form III Certificate was an academic qualification in Mauritius awarded upon successful completion of lower Secondary education in Mauritius, secondary school. The exam last took place at the end of 2019 and was replaced by the National Certificate of Education (NCE) in 2020. The Mauritius Examinations Syndicate is the examinations board responsible for administering school exams in Mauritius, run by the Government of Mauritius. The O-Level (Ordinary Level) is a subject-based qualification conferred as part of the General Certificate of Education. It was introduced in place of the School Certificate in 1951 as part of an educational reform alongside the more in-depth and academically rigorous A-Level (Advanced Level) in England, Wales and Northern Ireland.
