Forfar Farmington Football Club are a Scottish FA Quality Mark Community Football Club who are based at Station Park in Forfar, Angus. They were members of the top division Scottish Women's Premier League (SWPL) from 2005 until withdrawing from the competition in 2021. Station Park, Forfar
Station Park is a football ground in Forfar, Angus, Scotland. It is home to Scottish Professional Football League side Forfar Athletic and to Forfar Farmington of the Scottish Women's Premier League. Station Park is one of a number of old fashioned football grounds left in the Scottish League. It has a capacity of although this has previously been much higher. The record crowd is 10,780 against Rangers in 1970. The total has been reduced for safety reasons. The ground allows access to all four sides of the pitch. There is one large terrace behind the goal at the western end of the ground. Called the "mert end" because a cattle market is just over the wall this area is reserved for visiting supporters when occasion and numbers demand separation of fans. Suzanne Mulvey (née Malone; born 4 October 1984) is a Scottish footballer who plays as a forward and represented Scotland at the senior international level. Club career Mulvey started her playing career with Hibernian after moving up from their youth teams. In the 2005 summer season, Mulvey played in Iceland with ÍBV and scored three goals in ten Úrvalsdeild appearances. Her spell with Hibernian showcased her as one of the most promising young players in Scotland at the time and brought her to the attention of everyone in the game, however, Mulvey brought her time with Hibernian to an end when she moved to play for Hamilton. The Scottish Women's Football League Cup, previously known as the Scottish Women's League Cup and Scottish Women's Football League First Division Cup, is a Scottish women's football competition founded in 1972. It is open only to teams in the Scottish Women's Football League (SWFL). It was the top-level league cup until 2002. The Scottish Women's Premier League Cup or SWPL Cup is a league cup competition in women's football in Scotland. The Cup is open only to the teams in the Scottish Women's Premier League. There are four rounds, including the final. The competition was launched in 2002–03 along with the Scottish Women's Premier League, and the Cup's first winners were Kilmarnock. The trophy has been won most often by Hibernian, seven times. Forfar ( sco, Farfar, gd, Baile Fharfair) is the county town of Angus, Scotland and the administrative centre for Angus Council, with a new multi-million pound office complex located on the outskirts of the town. As of 2021, the town has a population of 16,280.
