''Forever, for Always, for Love'' is the second studio album by American contemporary R&B, R&B singer and songwriter Luther Vandross, released on September 21, 1982, by Epic Records. It became Vandross' second album to chart in the top 20 on the Billboard 200, ''Billboard'' 200 and was his second album to top the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums, R&B Albums chart where it spent three weeks. The album was certified Platinum by the RIAA, and earned Vandross his third nomination for Grammy Award for Best Male R&B Vocal Performance, Best R&B Vocal Performance, Male, but lost to Marvin Gaye for his song "Sexual Healing". Luther Ronzoni Vandross Jr. (April 20, 1951 – July 1, 2005) was an American singer, songwriter, and record producer. Known for his sweet and soulful vocals, Vandross has sold over 40 million records worldwide. He achieved eleven consecutive Platinum albums and eight Grammy Awards, including Best Male R&B Vocal Performance four different times. ''Forever, for Always, for Luther'', released on July 27, 2004, by GRP Records, is a smooth jazz various artists tribute album, with ten popular songs written by Luther Vandross. The album featured vocal arrangements by Luther, and was produced by Rex Rideout and Bud Harner. Rideout had co-authored songs and contributed arrangements and played keyboards on Luther's final three albums. Eulaulah Donyll "Lalah" Hathaway (born December 16, 1968) is an American singer. In 1990 Hathaway released her first album titled ''Lalah Hathaway''. ''House Party'' is a 1990 American comedy film directed by Reginald Hudlin.
