Ford Kansas City Assembly Plant
Kansas City Assembly Plant (KCAP) is a Ford Motor Company automobile assembly facility which produces the Ford F-150 and the Ford Transit. Located in Claycomo, Missouri, United States, the plant is about northeast of Kansas City, Missouri. The plant consists of of production space and employs approximately 7,000 hourly workers represented by the United Auto Workers Local 249. It is the largest car manufacturing plant in the United States in terms of vehicles produced. Current The on facility employs approximately 7,000 people. The Ford Tempo and its Mercury counterpart the Topaz, are compact cars produced by the Ford Motor Company for model years 1984 to 1994.
