The Ford Credit 125 was a NASCAR SuperTruck Series presented by Craftsman race held at Mesa Marin Raceway in Bakersfield, California on April 22, 1995. The fourth of 20 races in the series' inaugural season, it was the first race of the series to air on network television, and was also the shortest race, at , in series history; it was won by Ron Hornaday Jr. Report Pole position for the race was won by Mike Skinner, who was the fastest in qualifying for the third time in the series' four races to that point. 1995 NASCAR SuperTruck Series Presented By Craftsman
The 1995 NASCAR SuperTruck Series presented by Craftsman was the inaugural season of the NASCAR SuperTruck Series. The season began on February 5, 1995, and ended on October 28. Mike Skinner of Richard Childress Racing won the championship. Prior to and after the season, NASCAR conducted seven exhibition races. This was the first year that Dodge ran in NASCAR in any capacity since 1985. Jack Sprague
Jack Sprague (born August 8, 1964) is an American former stock car racing driver who has competed in all of NASCAR's three top divisions, most notably in the Craftsman Truck Series, where he won series championships in 1997, 1999 and 2001. Racing career Beginnings Sprague was born in Spring Lake, Michigan, and began racing street stock cars at local short tracks. After winning the track championships at Thunderbird Raceway and later Winston Raceway, Sprague began racing in the NASCAR Winston Racing Series, in its North Carolina Late Model Division competition. He won the Big Ten Championship at Concord Motorsports Park, and won more than 30 Late Model Races. Eventually, he won the NASCAR Winston Racing Series championship at Concord Motorsports Park. Motor Racing Network (MRN) is a U.S. radio network that syndicates broadcasts of auto racing events, particularly NASCAR. MRN was founded in 1970 by NASCAR founder Bill France, Sr. and broadcaster Ken Squier, and is a wholly owned subsidiary of NASCAR. Its first broadcast was the 1970 Daytona 500. MRN is one of the two main radio broadcasters of the NASCAR Cup Series and Xfinity Series, covering events held at tracks owned by NASCAR, along with Pocono Raceway. Samuel Alan "Slammin Sammy" Swindell (born October 26, 1955) is an American sprint car driver. He is a three-time champion and four-time runner-up in the World of Outlaws series; he has also competed in NASCAR and Champ Car competition and attempted to qualify for the 1987 Indianapolis 500. Scott Lagasse Sr. (pronounced LAG-a-say) (born February 20, 1959) is a former race car driver. He has competed in multiple series, most notably the NASCAR Winston Cup Series. Racing career SCCA Beginning in 1985, he became the first driver to earn Novice, Regional and National License all in the same season. More impressive was winning the SCCA National Championship in his very first season of racing. Scott went on the following season to capture the SCCA National Championship again as well as winning an SCCA PRO Title. Joe Ruttman
Joe Ruttman (born October 28, 1944) is a retired American stock car racing driver who competed in NASCAR's Sprint Cup Series, Nationwide Series, and Camping World Truck Series. With 13 career wins in the Truck Series he is currently tied for 13th on the all-time wins list with Mike Bliss (as of October 13th, 2021). He is the younger brother of Troy Ruttman. Robert Allen Keselowski (August 1, 1951 – December 22, 2021) was an American professional stock car racing driver. He owned K Automotive Racing and was a competitor in the ARCA Hooters SuperCar Series and the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series. Racing career In the ARCA Series, he had 24 wins, 26 poles, and a 1989 championship. Keselowski was one of the original drivers in the Camping World Truck Series in 1995 when it raced under the name the NASCAR SuperTruck Series. Butch Miller (racing Driver)
Henry "Butch" Miller (born June 5, 1952) is an American retired stock car racing driver. He is a multi-time champion in the now-defunct American Speed Association stock car series. NASCAR Early career In 1985, Miller ran his first Busch Series races, driving for LeRoy Throop, driving the No. 08 MSW Spyders Pontiac in four events. He made four races, and had a 2nd-place finish at Bristol Motor Speedway. The next year, in 1986, he went to victory lane at the Indianapolis Raceway Park. Michael Duane Bliss (born April 5, 1965) is an American professional stock car racing driver. A journeyman NASCAR competitor and the 2002 NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series champion, he has run in all three national series. Racing career Bliss began racing at age 10. He captured his first major victory in 1993 with the USAC Silver Crown National Championship. 1995–1999 Bliss began racing in NASCAR in 1995, driving the Nos. 08 and 2 Ford F-150 for Ultra Motorsports in the new Craftsman Truck Series. ''The Ledger'' is a daily newspaper serving Lakeland, Florida, and the Polk County area. The paper was founded on August 22, 1924, as the ''Lakeland Evening Ledger''. In 1927, it bought its main competitor, the morning ''Lakeland Star-Telegram''. By 1930, it was obvious that Lakeland could not support two papers, so Ledger Publishing Company merged the two papers into a single morning paper, the ''Lakeland Ledger and Star-Telegram''.
