Forconi Cup
The Forconi Cup, also called Coupe Edmond Forconi was an Organized in 1942 to 1962, open to all clubs affiliated to the League Algiers Football Association. Regional level as for all Algiers department, the competition to determine the qualified clubs in the area for the North African Cup, inter-regional competition. The competition, which follows other departmental cuts of the same league, takes place for almost a decade. His editions are paired with the qualifications for the North African Cup and resist the enthusiasm aroused after 1957 the permission of North African clubs to compete in the Coupe de France, as the Algerian Cup in 1957. Finally the cup disappears in 1962 with the independence of Algeria. FC Blida
The Football club Blida, commonly abbreviated as FC Blida or FCB, is a former Algerian football club based in Blida. Formed on 4 October 1904, FC Blida became known, The Dean teams of the Algiers. The club won six titles including the Algiers champion of Division Honor, four Forconi Cup, two Championship and North African Cup. During the independence of Algeria in 1962, FCB was dissolved like most other clubs. History Stadium The FCB Stadium was inaugurated in 1924. Omar Hamadi Stadium
Omar Hamadi Stadium () is a multi-purpose stadium in Bologhine, Algiers, Algeria. It is currently used mostly for football matches and is the home ground of USM Alger. The stadium has a capacity of 17,500 people. History The stadium was built in 1919 as the home ground for l’Association Sportive Saint Eugénoise. It was known as the Stade communal de Saint Eugène. In 1957, the third platform will be built, consisting of two superimposed stands on the south side, arched and connecting the two original stands, this new platform will give a modern look at the municipal stadium. After the independence of Algeria in 1962, the stage of St. Eugene will be called Bologhine new name for the town. Union Sportive Madinat Blida ( ar, الإتحاد الرياضي لمدينة البليدة), known as USM Blida or simply USMB, is a football club based in Blida, Algeria.
