''For a few marbles more'' (original title: ''Voor een paar knikkers meer'') is a 2006 short Dutch film directed by Jelmar Hufen. The film was selected for over 240 film festivals in 57 countries and received 41 awards. 'For a few marbles more' is the most selected and awarded Dutch (short) film ever. Plot Four ten–year-olds are kicked out of their favorite playground by two aggressive drunkards. When they realize their parents are not going to help them, there's only one solution. They have to find a way to get the toughest boy in the neighborhood to help them. From that moment on the four friends are in for an exciting adventure. Schlingel (Usually written: SCHLINGEL) is an international film festival for children and young audiences. The festival began in 1996, and has taken place annually in Chemnitz ever since in the week before the Saxon Fall Break. The festival gives an overview of the newest international productions in the area of children and youth films. The festival is organized by the Saxon Children and Youth Films Association in Chemnitz. In addition, since 2006, the Saxon Institution for Private Broadcasting and New Media has also helped to organize this event. The End of the Pier International Film Festival was a not-for profit independent film festival based in West Sussex, England. The festival began in 2002 and showed work by local film makers, but it has since grown to showcase shorts and features from all over the world. There are also extensive educational and heritage projects surrounding the festival. Venues used by the festival have included the Ritz Cinema in Worthing's Connaught Theatre and the Grade II* listed Dome Cinema. DokuFest is an international documentary and short film festival held in the Kosovo city of Prizren, held annually during August. It was founded in 2002 by a group of friends. It has since grown into a cultural event that attracts international and regional artists and audiences.
