The Asian Football Confederation's Pre-Olympic Tournament was held from 5 April 2003 to 12 May 2004. Thirty-six teams entered the qualification for the three allocated spots for the 2004 Summer Olympics Football tournament in Athens. The qualification saw Korea Republic, Japan and Iraq winning their final round groups and qualifying to the Olympics.
