Follow (dancer)
In some types of partner dance, lead and follow are designations for the two dancers' roles in a dance pairing. The leader is responsible for guiding the couple and initiating transitions to different dance steps and, in improvised dances, for choosing the dance steps to perform. The leader communicates choices to the follower, and directs the follower by means of subtle physical and visual signals, thereby allowing the pair to be smoothly coordinated. The amount of direction given by the leader depends on several factors, including dance style, social context of the dance, and experience and personalities of the dancers. Gender roles Traditionally, the male dance partner is the leader and the female dance partner is the follower, though this is not always the case, such as in Schottische danced in the Madrid style where women lead and men follow (although this is not totally true: during the dance there is an exchange of roles, the leader becomes the follower and vice versa.). ...

Mixed Bag
''Mixed Bag'' is the debut studio album by Richie Havens and was released in 1966. Although it was Havens' first album release, Douglas Records later issued two unauthorized albums of material that had been recorded prior to the ''Mixed Bag'' recording sessions—''Electric Havens'' (1968) and ''Richie Havens' Record'' (1969). ''Mixed Bag'' was released after Havens signed on with manager Albert Grossman and was released on Verve Folkways, a new folk music imprint of Verve Records.Ellen Geisel, "Richie Havens: Seeker of Change", ''Dirty Linen'', 65, August–September 1968, p. 44-47 ''Mixed Bag'' is frequently cited as the singer's best work, and was his first album to appear on ''Billboard's'' charts (appearing on both the jazz and pop charts). The recording was the first to introduce a wider audience to Havens's rich baritone vocals and the full-sound of Havens's distinct guitar style (thumb-chorded and played in open E tuning). '' Electric Havens'' and ''Mixed Bag'' were t ...

Sinner (Drowning Pool Album)
''Sinner'' is the debut studio album by the American rock band Drowning Pool, released on June 5, 2001, by Wind-up Records. It is considered to be the band's most popular album, being certified platinum in the same year that it was released. This was due at least in part to "Bodies" which remains the band's most well-known song. This is the only studio album by the band to feature original lead singer Dave Williams. While touring in support of ''Sinner'', he died on August 14, 2002, from cardiomyopathy. The album debuted at number 14 on the ''Billboard'' 200 chart. Drowning Pool released a reissue of the album called the "Unlucky 13th Anniversary Edition" in 2014. The album was put at no. 25 on Metal Descent's list "The 25 Best Alternative Metal Albums". Their songs "Mute", "Told You So", and "Reminded" were featured on '' Dragon Ball Z: Cooler's Revenge''. Writing and recording Dave Williams explained how the album got its name in an MTV interview: Williams also remarked on ...

Friending And Following
Friending is the act of adding someone to a list of "friends" on a social networking service. The notion does not necessarily involve the concept of friendship. It is also distinct from the idea of a " fan"—as employed on the WWW sites of businesses, bands, artists, and others—since it is more than a one-way relationship. A "fan" only receives things. A "friend" can communicate back to the person friending. The act of "friending" someone usually grants that person special privileges (on the service) with respect to oneself. On Facebook, for example, one's "friends" have the privilege of viewing and posting to one's "timeline". Following is a similar concept on other social network services, such as Twitter and Instagram, where a person (''follower'') chooses to add content from a person or page to his or her newsfeed. Unlike friending, following is not necessarily mutual, and a person can ''unfollow'' (stop following) or block another user at any time without affecting th ...
