Irvin Willat
Irvin V. Willat (November 18, 1890 – April 17, 1976) was an American film director of the silent film, silent film era. A short biography reprinted from ''Blue Book of the Screen'' (1923). He directed 39 films between 1917 and 1937. Early in his career Willat worked as a cinematographer on several films. His older brother Edwin Willat (1882–1950) was cinematographer on several silent films. Warren Cook (May 23, 1878 – May 2, 1939) was an American film actor of the silent era. Cook was born in Boston, Massachusetts. In 1901, he appeared in ''The Shaughraun'' at the Castle Square Theatre in Boston. He was part of the stock company based at Castle Square Theatre. On Broadway, Cook appeared in ''The Conspiracy'' 1912). He had minor roles and appeared in more than 60 films between 1914 and 1927. The beginning of sound films brought an end to Cook's career. When he died on May 2, 1939, he was living at an actor's home in East Islip, New York. Studio System by Gracenote, formerly known as Baseline StudioSystems, is an American e-commerce company. It was founded in 1982 and licenses its commercial entertainment database, known as Studio System. It is owned by Gracenote, a subsidiary of Nielsen Holdings.
