''Focus Level'' is the debut studio album by American Rock music, rock band Endless Boogie (band), Endless Boogie. It was released on June 17, 2008 through No Quarter Records. Critical reception ''Focus Level'' generally received positive reviews from music critics. Allmusic critic Tim Forget noted the influences of "the heavy Texas rumble of ZZ Top, the Woodstock noodling of Canned Heat, and the brown acid haze of Blue Cheer," stating that the album's pleasures rest in "the band’s ability to crawl inside these sounds and explore them." Endless Boogie (band)
Endless Boogie is an American Rock music, rock band, formed in 1997 in Brooklyn, New York City, New York. The current line-up of the band consists of Paul Major (vocals, guitar), Jesper Eklow (guitar), Marc Razo (bass) and Harry Druzd (drums). The band takes its name from John Lee Hooker's 1971 Endless Boogie, album of the same name. The band is known for "its minimalist jams both onstage and on record." ZZ Top
ZZ Top is an American rock band formed in 1969 in Houston, Texas. For 51 years, they comprised vocalist-guitarist Billy Gibbons, drummer Frank Beard and vocalist-bassist Dusty Hill, until Hill's death in 2021. ZZ Top developed a signature sound based on Gibbons' blues guitar style and Hill and Beard's rhythm section. They are popular for their live performances, sly and humorous lyrics, and the matching appearances of Gibbons and Hill, who wore sunglasses, hats and long beards. Canned Heat
Canned Heat is an American band formed in Los Angeles, California, in 1965. The group is noted for its efforts to promote interest in blues music and its original artists and rock music. It was founded by two blues enthusiasts Alan Wilson and Bob Hite, who took the name from Tommy Johnson's 1928 song "Canned Heat Blues", a song about an alcoholic who had desperately turned to drinking Sterno, generically called "canned heat".
