Flörsheim (Main) Station
Flörsheim (Main) station is the station of Flörsheim am Main in the German state of Hesse. It lies on the Taunus Railway, which connects Frankfurt and Wiesbaden. History Florsheim station was opened on 13 April 1840 with the Taunus Railway, which was one of the first railways in Germany and ran between the Free City of Frankfurt and the capital of the Duchy of Nassau, Wiesbaden. Services on line S1 of the Rhine-Main S-Bahn have stopped in Flörsheim since the network started operating in May 1978. Entrance building The core of the Neoclassical entrance building at Florsheim dates back to the construction of the station. Frankfurt City Tunnel
The Frankfurt City Tunnel is standard gauge railway in Frankfurt and the core of the Rhine-Main S-Bahn. The line runs underground for its entire length. Central Station to Konstablerwache The first section was put into operation on 28 May 1978 to Hauptwache. S-Bahn trains began operating on the Taunus Railway (S1), the Main-Lahn Railway (S2), the Limes Railway (S3), the Kronberg Railway (S4), the Homburg Railway (S5) and the Main-Weser Railway (S6) after climbing a ramp under the former postal station in the tunnel and reached the surface about 500 metres east of the central station. The Main Railway service (S14, now S8), was introduced shortly later. Rödermark-Ober Roden station (german: Bahnhof Rödermark-Ober Roden) is the station of the Rödermark suburb of Ober-Roden in the German state of Hesse.
