Cricket The area is home to Flowery Field Cricket Club, one of the foremost amateur clubs in the Tame Valley. Hyde is a town in Tameside, Greater Manchester, England, which had a population of 34,003 in 2011. Historically in Cheshire, it is northeast of Stockport, west of Glossop and east of Manchester. Graham Lloyd
Graham David Lloyd (born 1 July 1969) is a former English cricketer who played for Lancashire County Cricket Club (1988–2002) and in six One Day Internationals for England between 1996 and 1998. His final List A cricket appearance was for Cumberland County Cricket Club in 2003 against Scotland, a match in which he scored 123 runs. Robert Zadow
Robert John Zadow (born 17 January 1954 in Mannum near Adelaide) known as Bob or Rob is a former first-class South Australian cricketer. Career Zadow abandoned a promising Australian rules footballing career by moving to England in 1976 to play as an overseas amateur for Flowery Field Cricket Club in the Saddleworth and District League. He scored over 1000 runs as a right-handed batman despite missing the first six and last six games of the season. In 1977 he returned to Flowery Field Cricket Club as a professional. From 1979/80 he started to play regular first-class cricket for South Australia and was soon chosen to captain the side. In 32 matches (59 innings) he scored 1472 runs at an average of 26.28 including 2 x 100s and 5 x 50s. Andrew Payne (born 20 October 1973) is an English all-round cricketer who played first-class and List A matches for Somerset between 1992 and 1994. Payne fathered his only child Tom Payne in 2002. He was born in Rossendale Valley, Lancashire. Payne, an opening bowler and middle-order batsman, was on the books of Lancashire as a teenager but was released without making a first-class appearance. He played for England under-19s in international matches and was signed by Somerset, for whom he made regular senior appearances in two years on the county's books. Steven Elworthy, (born 23 February 1965) is a former South African international cricketer who has worked in administration with Cricket South Africa and the England and Wales Cricket Board since retiring from playing the game. Elworthy was a member of the South Africa team that won the 1998 ICC KnockOut Trophy, the only ICC trophy the country has won till date.
