Ramón Luis Ayala Rodríguez (born February 3, 1976), known professionally as Daddy Yankee, is a Puerto Rican rapper, singer, composer, and actor. Known as the " King of Reggaetón" by music critics and fans alike, he is the artist who coined the word ''reggaeton'' in 1991 in the mixtape Playero 34 in the song "So persigueme, no te detengas" to describe the new music genre that was emerging from Puerto Rico that synthesized American hip-hop, Hispanic Caribbean music, and Jamaican reggae rhythms with Spanish rapping and singing. Las Guanábanas (a.k.a. "Los Reyes De La Pichaera", a.k.a. "Las Guanabanas") were a Puerto Rican reggaeton duo from Villas de Loíza, northeast Puerto Rico. Their names are Georgie and Joelito. Career Starting in the world of hip-hop in the late 1980s when they were only engaged breakdancing. Daniel Velázquez (born August 7, 1977), better known by his stage name Divino, is an American reggaeton singer. Career Divino began his career at the age of fifteen, when his family moved from The Bronx, New York, to Ponce, Puerto Rico, while working a day job as an assistant in a juvenile institution. His brother, K2 Young, had made in-roads in the reggaetón genre as a member of DJ Playero's crew. He was friends with Baby Ranks, with whom he often performed.
