Florian Sturm
Florian Sturm (born 6 May 1982, in Wörgl, Tyrol) is an Austrian footballer. Club career He started his career at Tirol, and went to WSG Wattens of 1st League for their campaign to avoid relegation. He then played one season at SW Bregenz before joining SK Rapid Wien. He signed a contract extension until summer 2005 in April 2004. In the summer of 2008 Sturm played on trial for Milton Keynes Dons, scoring a goal in a 4-1 friendly defeat to Sheffield Wednesday F.C. He has since signed for them on a free transfer becoming Roberto Di Matteo's first signing. However, after several months plagued by injury and only a handful of league games, his contract was mutually terminated. Wörgl
Wörgl () is a city in the Austrian state of Tyrol, in the Kufstein district. It is from the international border with Bavaria, Germany. Population Transport Wörgl is an important railway junction between the line from Innsbruck to Munich, and the inner-Austrian line to Salzburg. Its railway station has been designated as a ''Hauptbahnhof'' (german: main station) since 10 December 2006. European route E641 connects Wörgl with Salzburg, the routes E45 and E60 (Austrian autobahn A12) pass through Wörgl. The Austrian Football Second League (german: 2. Liga) is the second-highest professional division in Austrian football. It was formerly called the First League (''Erste Liga''), from 2002 to 2018. The division currently contains 16 teams, and the champion of the league is promoted to the Austrian Bundesliga. The three last placed teams are directly relegated from the Second League into the regional leagues.
