Florent Boudié
Florent Boudié (born 22 September 1973) is a French politician who has represented the 10th constituency of the Gironde department in the National Assembly since 2012. A former member of the Socialist Party (PS), he joined La République En Marche! (LREM, later Renaissance, RE) in 2016. Early life and education Boudié was born to a father who was a member of the French Resistance. He went to college at the Institut d'études politiques de Bordeaux from 1990 to 1994. Political career Boudié was originally elected in 2012, then as a member of the Socialist Party. He was re-elected on 18 June 2017, this time representing LREM. In parliament, Boudié serves on the Committee on Legal Affairs. In this capacity, he was the parliament's rapporteur on a 2018 Asylum and Immigration Law and 2021 legislation on regulating Islam in France.
