Florence Schelling
Florence Isabelle Schelling (born 9 March 1989) is a Swiss former professional ice hockey goaltender. She briefly served as General manager of SC Bern from 2020 to 2021. She was the first woman to be named GM of a professional men's team in the world. During her playing career, Schelling competed internationally with the Swiss women's national ice hockey team at the 2006 Winter Olympics, 2010 Winter Olympics and 2014 Winter Olympics. In the 2012 CWHL Draft, Schelling was selected by the Montreal Stars, but opted to play the 2012–13 season with the Brampton Thunder instead. She played with EHC Bülach of the Swiss men's National League B in the 2013–14 and 2014–15 seasons, the first and only woman to ever play in the league. Gillian Apps
Gillian Mary Apps (born November 2, 1983) is a women's ice hockey player. Apps was a member of the Canadian National Hockey Team that won back to back Gold Medals in three consecutive Olympic Games. As a psychology major at Dartmouth College in Hanover, New Hampshire, United States, Apps was a member of her college's ice hockey team, competing in ECAC women's ice hockey. She was a member of the Canada women's national ice hockey team, winning gold medals at the 2006 Winter Olympics in Turin, Italy, the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada and the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi, Russia. She was also a winner of gold medals with Team Canada at the 2004 and 2007 World Ice Hockey Championships, and silver medals in that event in 2005, 2008, 2009, 2011 and 2013. Christina Kessler
Christina Kessler (born May 28, 1988) has competed for the Canadian National women's ice hockey team. Her debut with Team Canada was at the 2010 Four Nations Cup where she was part of the gold medal-winning squadron. She played for the Burlington Barracudas in the Canadian Women's Hockey League before being claimed by the Brampton Thunder in the dispersal section of the 2012 CWHL Draft. With the Toronto Furies, she was recognized as the Most Valuable Player of the 2014 Clarkson Cup. Playing career Kessler participated in the PWHL for the Toronto Jr. Aeros. During the 2005–06 season, she led the squad to an undefeated regular season. In addition, she helped the team claim league and provincial titles. Toronto Furies
The Toronto Furies were a professional women's ice hockey team that played in Toronto, Ontario, as members of the Canadian Women's Hockey League. The Toronto Furies played their home games at the Mastercard Centre in Toronto. The team was established in 2010 as an expansion team called Toronto CWHL during a league-wide restructuring. The team adopted the name "Furies" after the 2011 Clarkson Cup. The club won the 2014 Clarkson Cup championship in 1–0 overtime victory over the Boston Blades. Geneviève Lacasse
Geneviève Lacasse (born May 5, 1989) is a Canadian ice hockey goaltender currently playing for the Montréal section of the PWHPA. She is also a member of the Canada women's national ice hockey team with whom she has won gold medals at both the Olympic Games and IIHF World Championships. In the Canadian Women's Hockey League, she is a two-time Clarkson Cup winner. Lacasse was born in Montreal, Quebec, but grew up in Kingston, Ontario. Education Lacasse attended many high schools. Fenway Park is a baseball stadium located in Boston, Massachusetts, United States, near Kenmore Square. The Swiss League is the second tier of the main professional ice hockey league in Switzerland, behind the National League. The winners of the league each season plays a best-of-seven series against the bottom team of the NL, and if they win, they are promoted, while the National League team is relegated to the Swiss League. Prior to the 2017–18 season, the league was formerly called National League B. The league attendance in 2018–19 was about 2,700 spectators.
