Daniel Florea (born September 19, 1972) is a Romanian lawyer and politician who currently serves as the mayor of Bucharest's Sector 5. A member of the Social Democratic Party (PSD) and former member of the Democratic Party (PD), he has represented Călărași County in the Chamber of Deputies since 2012. Early life and education Born in Călărași, he graduated from Nicolae Bălcescu High School (now Barbu Știrbei National College). He then attended the Faculty of Law at the University of Bucharest from which he graduated in 1995 with the essay "Organized crime - a transnational phenomenon - and its impact on Romanian society". Dick Florea was a longtime news personality with television station WKJG-TV in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Career Florea started as a photographer for the San Francisco Examiner, then was signed onto the staff of LIFE in 1941, living in Hollywood and specializing in celebrity portraits of actresses, such as Marilyn Monroe and Jane Russell. After the bombing of Pearl Harbor which led to U.S. involvement in World War II he joined America's first war correspondents for the Pacific war, where he covered the Marines and the Navy, especially during the Battle of Tarawa in December 1943, and from 1944 until the end of the war, he followed the American army in French and Belgian campaigns, documenting the bombing of German cities and liberation of inmates of Nordhausen Nazi concentration camp. Florea Dumitrache (22 May 1948 – 26 April 2007) was a Romanian professional footballer who played as a striker. Dumitrache spent most of his senior career at Dinamo București, appearing in over 200 league matches and winning three national titles and one national cup. Club career Florea Voinea was born on 21 April 1941 in Puchenii Moșneni, Prahova County and started to play football at junior level at Rafinăria 1 Ploiești and Petrolul Ploiești.
