Flora Parker DeHaven (September 1, 1883 – September 9, 1950) was an American actress. Flora Parker, who was a Paramount-Artcraft co-star with her husband, Carter DeHaven, was born at Perth Amboy, New Jersey. Early in life, she displayed a desire to go on the stage. Her initial stage appearance was made at New Orleans in stock. She became a leading lady for Nat Goodwin before going into vaudeville with her husband. She played the Queen in ''Queen of the Moulin Rouge''. Mrs. DeHaven was an exceptionally fine dancer. Her screen debut was made under the Universal banner, from which company she went to Goldwyn as co-star with her husband in a series of two-reel comedies and then to Paramount-Artcraft, also as co-star. She was often billed as "Mrs. Carter DeHaven". She was of medium height and had a dark complexion and dark eyes. Carter DeHaven
Carter DeHaven (born Francis O'Callaghan; October 5, 1886 – July 20, 1977) was an American film and stage actor, film director, and screenwriter. Career DeHaven started his career in vaudeville in 1896 and started acting in movies in 1915. He regularly starred in comedy shorts up until 1923. He worked for Paramount in 1920, and some of his films were directed by Charley Chase. A 1923 short ''Character Studies'' uses editing as DeHaven "transforms" himself into the spitting image of various major film stars of the era: Buster Keaton, Harold Lloyd, Douglas Fairbanks, Roscoe 'Fatty' Arbuckle and 9-year-old Jackie Coogan. This was the only film in which Keaton and Lloyd appeared together and also marked Keaton's last film appearance with Arbuckle, his former partner. Gloria Mildred DeHaven (July 23, 1925 – July 30, 2016) was an American actress and singer who was a contract star for Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer (MGM). Early life DeHaven was born in Los Angeles, California, the daughter of actor-director Carter DeHaven and actress Flora Parker DeHaven, both former vaudeville performers. Nathaniel Carl "Nat" Goodwin (July 25, 1857 – January 31, 1919) was an American actor and vaudevillian born in Boston. Life and career While clerk in a large shop Goodwin studied for the stage and made his first appearance in 1874 at the Howard Athenaeum in Boston in Stuart Robson's company as the newsboy in Joseph Bradford's ''Law in New York''. The next year he appeared at Tony Pastor's Opera House in New York City where he began his career as a vaudevillian.
