James Clair Flood
James Clair Flood (October 25, 1826 – February 21, 1889) was an American businessman who made a fortune thanks to the Comstock Lode in Nevada. His mining operations are recounted to this day as an outstanding example of what may be done with a rich ore body and a genius for stock manipulation. Flood piled up millions as one of the famed "Bonanza Kings" and is considered to have been one of the 100 wealthiest Americans, leaving an enormous fortune. He is famous for two mansions, the James C. Flood Mansion at 1000 California St. in San Francisco, and Linden Towers located in Menlo Park, torn down in 1936. William Robert Flood (born 10 April 1985) is an Irish former professional footballer who played as a midfielder. He earned 15 caps for his country at under-20 and under-21 levels. He represented eight clubs in England and Scotland including Manchester City, Cardiff City, Dundee United, Celtic, Middlesbrough and Aberdeen. Warden Flood (1735 – March 1797) was an Irish politician. He sat in the Irish House of Commons for nearly 30 years, as a Member of Parliament (MP) for Longford Borough from 1776 to 1783, for Carysfort from 1776 to 1783, for Baltinglass from 1783 to 1790, and for Taghmon from 1790 until his death in 1797. Warden Flood
Warden Flood (1694 – 16 April 1764) was an Irish judge who held office as Lord Chief Justice of Ireland, but is mainly remembered now as the natural father of the statesman Henry Flood. He was born at Burnchurch in County Kilkenny, son of Francis Flood and Anne Warden. He was educated at Kilkenny College and Trinity College Dublin, taking his degree of Bachelor of Arts in 1714. He entered Middle Temple in 1716 and was called to the Irish Bar in 1720. He was appointed Solicitor-General for Ireland in 1741, Attorney-General for Ireland in 1751, and in 1760 was appointed Chief Justice of the King's Bench for Ireland.
