Horse Teeth
Horse teeth refers to the dentition of equine species, including horses and donkeys. Equines are both heterodontous and diphyodontous, which means that they have teeth in more than one shape (there are up to five shapes of tooth in a horse's mouth), and have two successive sets of teeth, the deciduous ("baby teeth") and permanent sets. As grazing animals, good dentition is essential to survival. Continued grazing creates specific patterns of wear, which can be used along with patterns of eruption to estimate the age of the horse. Types of teeth A fully developed horse of around five years of age will have between 36 and 44 teeth. All equines are heterodontous, which means that they have different shaped teeth for different purposes. All horses have twelve incisors at the front of the mouth, used primarily for cutting food, most often grass, whilst grazing. They are also used as part of a horse's attack or defence against predators, or as part of establishing social hier ...

Floating (Ketil Bjørnstad Album)
''Floating'' (released October 3, 2005 in Oslo, Norway on the label EmArcy - ) is an album by the Norwegian pianist Ketil Bjørnstad. Review For the first time in his rich and multifaceted career Bjørnstad give us an album with a trio constellation. He has a strong relationship to the melody and the melody to him. We have through some 30 years had the pleasure to witness this mutual love affair, and it has in no way diminished. Here we encounter melody and Bjørnstad in a new constellation and both thrive. Even though this is the first meeting between the three, there are large doses of empathy present and that they have a lot to talk about. Reception The Gemm review awarded the album 4 stars. Don't Stop (Jolin Tsai Album)
''Don't Stop'' is the second studio album by Taiwanese singer Jolin Tsai. It was released on April 26, 2000, by Universal and D Sound. Produced by David Wu, Peter Lee, Paul Lee, and Chen Wei, it incorporated genres of pop, R&B, hip-hop, rock, and reggae. Her singing skills on the album were better than before, and her ballad performance became more emotional and delicate, while her dance song performance became more free and easy. It was well received by music critics, who commented that the dance tracks, which were flush with positive vibe and cheerful disposition, set her off in a more dance-oriented direction. The album sold more than 500,000 copies in Taiwan, becoming the year's second highest-selling album by a female artist and the year's sixth highest-selling album overall in the country. Background and development On September 10, 1999, Tsai released her debut studio album, '' 1019'', which sold more than 450,000 copies in Taiwan. Around Christmas of 1999, Tsai flew ...

Floating (Jape Song)
"Floating" is a 2004 single by the Irish band Jape, taken from the second studio album, '' The Monkeys in the Zoo Have More Fun Than Me'' and described as "Jape's trademark song". Co-produced by David Kitt, the single was the first release from the album and was generally viewed by critics as the standout track on the album. In 2007, it featured on the EP, ''Jape is Grape'', for which a video was made. Brendan Benson of The Raconteurs is a known admirer of the song and has performed a cover version during live shows. Reception "Floating" was a popular single on late night alternative music radio shows in Ireland. The national broadcaster RTÉ described the song as "part drugs story and part love song" and noted its "quirky instrumentation and Gregorian chanting". It described the lyrics as having "a definite feel of amateur philosophy at 5am" but it said that that was "not necessarily a bad thing". Cover versions The song was famously overheard being played in Whelan's in Dub ...

Floating (The Moody Blues Song)
"Floating" is a song by the Moody Blues from their November 1969 album ''To Our Children's Children's Children'', a concept album about space travel, dedicated to NASA and the Apollo 11 astronauts. Background Written by band flautist Ray Thomas, "Floating" is a jaunty, semi-children's song about a future in which advances in space travel have enabled the Moon to become a family vacation spot. The song's lyrics describe the experience of "Floating" from weightlessness due to the microgravity experienced in space flight. Thomas's previous outspoken sympathy for LSD advocate Timothy Leary, as expressed in his song "Legend of a Mind", along with coincidental drug-related slang terms current at the time involving words such as "candy" and "rock," led some Americans to see in "Floating" a coded encouragement to use drugs.See for instance Bob Larson, "Rock and Roll: The Devil's Diversion" (3rd ed., 1970); David Noebel, "The Marxist Minstrels" (1970) Personnel * Ray Thomas – lead vocal ...

Isolation Tank
An isolation tank, sensory deprivation tank, float tank, float pod, float cabin, flotation tank, or sensory attenuation tank is a water filled, pitch-black, light-proof, soundproof environment heated to the same temperature as the skin, developed in 1954 by John C. Lilly. Flotation tanks are widely advertised as a form of alternative medicine but beneficial health effects are unproven. Method The tank is filled with 10 inches of water which contains enough dissolved Epsom salt to create a specific gravity of approximately 1.25–1.26. This environment allows an individual to float effortlessly on the surface of the water. History The isolation tank was developed in 1954 by John C. Lilly, a medical practitioner and neuropsychiatrist. During his training in psychoanalysis at the US National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH), Lilly experimented with sensory deprivation. Widespread commercial interest and use of the isolation tank did not occur until 1972, when Glenn Perry, a com ...
