	Flint Creek (Alabama) Flint Creek is a major tributary along the Tennessee River that runs in the US state of Alabama for its entire length. Its headwaters are in northern Cullman County, and after running through Wheeler National Wildlife Refuge, it ends in the Tennessee River at Decatur. The water level of the lower course of the creek is greatly affected by the level of Wheeler Lake. According to the Alabama Department of Conservation and Natural Resources, it is "one of Alabama's precious natural resources". Affected by " nonpoint source pollution", the Department claims that pollution has gone down in the decade since it became a pilot project for the EPA's watershed program. Flint Creek is part of the Canandaigua Lake watershed which is part of the Oswego River drainage basin, which ultimately drains to Lake Ontario. 	Flint Creek Range The Flint Creek Range, el. , is a mountain range northeast of Philipsburg, Montana in Granite County, Montana. The highest point in the range is Mount Powell, at 10,168 ft. in elevation. About 60,000 acres of the Flints are roadless. From Deer Lodge, Montana, there appears to be a level, barren ridge connecting Mount Powell and Deer Lodge Mountain, el. 9765 ft. However, if one is traveling eastbound on Interstate 90, in the stretch between Drummond and Garrison, Montana, looking up one can see that this ridge is actually a sheer cliff called "The Crater."
